Oh, the list of my piles can go on and on…what piles do you have?

I have written journals/diaries I think since I was about 8. I have to dig through a box in my garage that has some old diaries but I think I still have my first one my mom got me. It was pink and from Lacoste and even had a very preppy gator on the front-cute!
I wrote on and off for many years and finally gave up a couple of years ago because I found myself always online at night instead of writing in my dear ol’ diary.
I am married with two young children under the age of 7. I was raised by a strict Sicilian father and a zany Hungarian mother.  I have tons of funny stories and not so funny stories that I should probably record at some point maybe for my kids. I always wanted to write about my family tree that is huge and international. This could be the place that will finally inspire me to do it. I have piles and piles of recipes that I would love to gather together and share that are really great. I have strange encounters with my sister in law that have been very painful over the last 9 years that I should finally start to record so I will remember when the charm turns back on that it has another not so charming face.

I love to read our daily paper and find so many interesting articles with great tips. Or inspiring stories. I will promise to sometimes post about those articles to share with you, my dear readers.

My new goal is to budget on food and many other parts of our lives. It has never been an easy task for me but one that I feel is truly time to tackle. Please, my dear readers, don’t be shy! Tell me how you save a penny or two. Tell me how you save and how you are frugal. If you have a blog about your ideas, I would love to link to you to spread your thrifty ways around the blogging world!

Another passion of mine is Italy. I have been travelling there since I was 9 months old. If you have ever been to Italy, you maybe know why. If you have not ever been…I will attempt to share photos from my many trips I was fortunate enough to have taken. I love the food. I love the culture. Did I mention I love the food? And the art, the history, the gelato, the pasta, the pizza. Oh, Italy is fabulous! If you have the same love of Italy, I would love to hear from you and hear your stories.

So, please leave a comment or two and thank you for taking the time to read my blog:)
